FADMA 2026 Office Bearer Meeting (OBM) Successfully Concludes in Zhongshan, China

The Federation of Asian Die & Mould Associations (FADMA) held its 2026 Office Bearer Meeting (OBM) in Zhongshan, Guangdong Province, China on 29 June 2026.

Hosted shortly after the 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) in April, where a new Management Committee for the 2026–2029 term was elected, the OBM was convened to enable the new leadership team to finalize medium- and long-term development strategies and advance various work initiatives. The meeting aimed to consolidate consensus, build an industry exchange platform, foster a mutually beneficial industrial ecosystem, boost the overall competitiveness of Asia’s mould sector, and secure sustainable win-win outcomes for all members.

During the session, representatives from all member associations reviewed proposals to amend the FADMA Constitution and approved the trial rollout of the Federation’s new visual identity system. They held in-depth discussions on strategies for recruiting new members and organizing regional touring exhibitions, clarifying core strategic priorities for the upcoming period. Attendees also received work reports from each functional committee and exchanged views on key events planned for 2026–2027, covering FADMA brand promotion, Asian mould standardization, talent training and technical exchange programmes.

Following the meeting, delegations toured production facilities at Hongrita’s Zhongshan base, including flexible mould production lines, lights-out workshops for precision component moulding, GMP-compliant workshops and liquid silicone rubber (LSR) moulding workshops. They also visited the newly launched Hhub Industrial Park and its New Industrial Exhibition Hall integrating cutting-edge technology showcases and industrial science education. The delegates gained first-hand insight into Hongrita’s achievements in digital and intelligent manufacturing transformation.

On 30 June, the delegations travelled to DJI Sky City, DJI’s global headquarters in Shenzhen, to learn about the company’s development and application achievements in the drone industry. They were particularly impressed by the building’s distinctive asymmetric large cantilever structure and 270-degree glass curtain wall office space — the world’s first all-steel asymmetric suspended skyscraper exceeding 200 meters in height.
