Federation of Asian Die & Mould Associations (FADMA)<\/strong>
Established in September 1992, FADMA is the only international organization for the mold and die industry in Asia. It comprises member associations from nine Asian countries\/regions. Its mission is to advance the development of Asia’s mold industry<\/strong>, promote regional trade cooperation<\/strong>, and strengthen technical exchange and collaboration<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2024 FADMA Annual General Meeting (AGM)<\/strong>
Held in Seoul, South Korea, on March 11, 2025. Attendees included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Malaysia Sheet Metal Tooling Association (MSTMA)<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    Earlier that day, FADMA delegates attended the opening ceremony of INTERMOLD KOREA<\/strong> as honoured guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Key Meeting Outcomes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Hong Kong (HKMDC)<\/strong> presented a test version of FADMA\u2019s dedicated website<\/strong>, showcasing its structure and requesting member input to enrich content.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. China (CDMIA)<\/strong> proposed a framework for the previously discussed initiative: “Implementing Asian Mold Industry Standards.”<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Post-Meeting Activity (March 12):<\/strong>
      Delegates visited KODMIC’s training facilities<\/strong>, where South Korea\u2019s mold talent development strategy was detailed. Key challenges:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Low national birthrate restricts workforce growth.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Annual mold industry graduates (university\/vocational): \u2248750<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
